Prvi zametki skupine Café 2003 segajo v leto 1993 z nastankom skupine Nardin v Londonu. Café 2003 are a natural progression from the band Nardin, who formed in London during 1993, playing and promoting their own unique compositions. When Savo returned to Slovenia he teamed up with Vladimir and Marko Deferri (accordion) to form the tango group Café 1930. The group's name is taken from an Astor Piazzolla's composition, whose pieces were in their repertoire. With new members joining the group the repertoire has changed, touching jazz, fusion and flamenco again, playing only their own compositions. Hence the change of the name to Café 2003. -------------------- Bios: Savo Nardin - guitars, composing - from Bukovica nearby Nova Gorica, born in 1966, entered the world of music at the age of 11 and studied the clarinet at music school for 3 years.
